Desert Survival Activity Reflection
My group did not work together very well. A young woman and I assumed leadership and assessed the situation almost by ourselves. The rest of the group continued idle conversation until the last moment and copied from our sheets. At the last moment we quickly agreed and went our separate ways. I believe The young woman and I would have had to carry the team. In the very unlikely event that we did survive, we would have all been very lucky and experienced near-death situations. I learned that self-sufficiency is the way to go and that the people of my generation are very likely to not only drag me down but, the world along with them. I see a dark and desolate future ahead of us all.I can apply this lesson to the world in that i should i all my affairs in order and try my best not to depend on anyone at anytime
Geometry Scavenger Hunt Relay
From this activity, I learned that the world is made up of many intricate shapes and figures that combine together to create the things we see. My group helped by conversing with me on certain shapes, such as the arc. The most excited person in my group was D' anthony. When I looked beyond the stop signs and cars and saw the sky and trees, I realized all of them had their own shapes and forms. We found most of our shapes in the courtyard, though. Mrs. Mathieu assigned this to us so that we would understand why she made us draw shapes for warm-ups.
